John Terry: England still needs you

As a recovering Fabio Capello rested his aching knee in the first class lounge of the morning flight from Zurich to Heathrow, his mind will have no doubt been plagued with thoughts of making the one decision that an entire nation was waiting for, should he stay or should he go now?

Deep down Terry will always be the first choice captain in Capello’s eyes and that should motivate him to bounce back and maintain his outstanding form for both club and country.

However he should realise that the blame for this sorry episode completely lies at his door and he should be aware that the only way of moving on from this from a football perspective is to keep the equilibrium.
