Sunderland travel to White Hart Lane on Saturday minus key players, with suspensions and injuries mounting up for Steve Bruce’s men.

Captain Lorik Cana and Kenwyne Jones fall victim to suspension, whilst Lee Cattermole remains a long-term absentee with medial knee ligament damage.

However Bruce will be hoping Frazier Campbell will be available to start at his old club on Saturday, with the striker have trained well during the week.

John Mensah (calf) and Bolo Zenden (hip) have been ruled out indefinitely for the trip south with neither being able to shake off the knocks that kept them out of last week’s draw with West Ham.

Tottenham squad:

Gomes, Hutton, Bale, Bentley, Huddlestone, Lennon, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, Keane, Palacios, Walker, Modric, Crouch, Naughton, Giovani, Defoe, Bassong, Dawson, Kranjcar, Corluka, Cudicini, King, Alnwick, Assou-Ekotto, Woodgate

Sunderland squad:

Gordon, Bardsley, McCartney, Turner, Ferdinand, Nosworthy, Malbranque, Campbell, Richardson, Bent, Mensah, Murphy, Henderson, Da Silva, Healy, Reid,  Fulop.

Paddy Power: Darren Bent to score and Sunderland to win – 9/1
